COUPLES

Most couples don't come to me because they don't love each other. They come because they're stuck in a pattern they can't see from the inside — the same fight wearing different clothes, the same misunderstanding on repeat. I'm good at spotting that pattern quickly. I can often see the energy between two people — what's actually being asked for underneath the words, what's landing and what's missing each other — before either partner can name it themselves.

I work with couples individually and together, including queer couples, non-traditional relationship structures, and partners navigating ethical non-monogamy or opening their relationship. Individual sessions let me understand each partner's own patterns, history, and nervous system — what they bring into the room before the other person even walks in. Couples sessions build on that, often incorporating breathwork and regulation practices so we're working from a grounded nervous system rather than a reactive one. Getting calm together, before we get into conflict, changes everything about how the conflict actually goes.

I'm direct and I will call you on your bullshit. I'll tell you what I'm seeing, even when it's uncomfortable, because skirting the truth wastes your time and your relationship's. My goal isn't to hand you a script — it's to help you understand why you do what you do with each other, so you can build something more honest than the pattern you walked in with.

what i bring

I bring clinical training in attachment and nervous system regulation together with real body-based tools — breathwork, tapping, and body psychotherapy — so we're not just talking about your pattern, we're actually shifting it in real time. Getting your nervous systems regulated together, before we get into the conflict itself, changes what's even possible to hear from each other. When you're triggered, I'll often give you concrete language or scripts to work with in the moment — but the deeper goal is always to help you understand each other well enough that the scripts become less necessary over time.

“Working with you showed me exactly where my old patterns were getting in the way — and helped us build a real, new kind of intimacy.”
