medicine to heal
“I’d been in therapy for years and was going in circles. Doing some medicine work helped me finally get unstuck. I feel free!!”

Ketamine works differently than talk therapy alone. At low doses, it temporarily quiets the brain's default patterns and increases glutamate activity — which supports the growth of new neural connections. In practice, that means it can create genuine breathing room from depression, anxiety, and stuck patterns of thought, often faster than traditional treatment. Because ketamine is mildly dissociative, it also creates a kind of safe distance from difficult or traumatic material — enough space to look directly at something painful without your body having to re-live it. Research on treatment-resistant depression in particular has been genuinely promising.
I partner with Journey Clinical, an organization that connects clients with a prescribing provider and handles the medical and logistical side of things — screening, prescribing, and shipping the medication directly to you. Insurance may cover some or all of their fees. My role is separate: I'm the therapist who guides your actual session, whether that's as part of our ongoing work together, or as a stand-alone addition to therapy you're already doing elsewhere.
We start with an intake session to get to know each other (if we don't already) and talk through what you want to focus on. Sessions themselves are in-person, in my office, and run about three hours. We begin with intention-setting and intuitive guidance to set the scene, and talk beforehand about what kind of touch or support you'd like during the experience. Some clients want to process out loud as things come up; others go inward and prefer to talk afterward — either way is welcome. I stay with you the entire time, holding the space and the container, and we often bring in breathwork or hands-on energy work as part of the session. Afterward, I send you written notes to support your integration at home — because integration, not just the experience itself, is where the real work happens.
Most clients do 6–8 sessions, with many noticing significant shifts by session four.
I'll be honest: as someone who believes deeply in the body's own wisdom, ketamine isn't always my first choice. But for people who have a hard time accessing the body directly, it can open a door that's otherwise hard to reach — and it's often the beginning of deeper work, not the end of it.
what i bring
I'm trained specifically in how trauma and emotion live in the body, which matters here — ketamine opens a door, but knowing how to pace what comes through it is what makes the experience safe and useful rather than overwhelming. As a spiritual and somatically trained practitioner, I create the space and container for your healing journey. I bring breathwork and body-based tools into session and integration, so what surfaces during your journey actually gets metabolized afterward, not just remembered. This isn't a one-time experience I hand you and walk away from — integration is where the real work happens, and that's where I stay with you.
